Tip #1 🎃

Practice wearing your costume! Make sure shoes are comfortable for walking in & outfit does not restrict walking or movement.

Tip #2 👻

For many reason, some young trick-or-treaters cannot eat candy. When you shop for Halloween candy, consider nonfood options like stickers, fidgets, plastic spiders, and tattoos.

Tip #3 🍂

Practice Trick-or-Treating! Use your own front door & get all family members in on the fun! Model how to knock, wait & say “Trick-or-Treat” & “Thank You”. Have a child working on speech? Use the signs for “please,” “candy,” & “thank you.”
